Have you ever been in a place in your life where you feel stuck and don’t know why, while noticing repeating patterns around you and from your own self too?
While everything could be chaotic around us with repeating patterns of emotions, of thoughts, or events, I see it as a question of perception and mindset! Those spinning repeating patterns are here for us to do things differently by improving our way of thinking and of doing! Yet it could be overwhelming, challenging, and even painful emotionally at times… They are here for us to grow within! In fact, Life’s events are happening for us and not “to’’ us, in order to understand the way we are wired and work on making some changes.
Through my personal health & wellness journey, I realized that what we eat, drink, breath, put on our skin, and the lifestyle we have are not the only thing to consider for improving our overall health, but also the importance of truly understanding our own self and some of the bigger whys through self-introspection.
Evaluating our own mindset, what we think about daily, the way we think, what we listen to, what we watch, along with introspecting where we are coming from with our education, the environments we grew up in, our past experiences, the emotions present or missing at that time, our limiting beliefs, limiting expectations, and more… All of those factors make us unique with Who we are and How we are processing our own reality of Life!
Although we are all unique in the way we are living the human experience, we all have something in common…
We are all here together to learn from the way things are unfolding for us in our daily life, from stress and chronic stress, from challenges and situations that might have happened not the way we wanted or expected. Chronic illnesses, pains, and injuries are also learning experiences with emotional patterns we could introspect to grasp their deeper meanings.
Deep down from the human experience, we are all here to undergo some emotions from a “victim mode perspective’’, to learn to understand them, to step back, to acknowledge our mindset, our values, our principals and models we grew up wired with as a base. Through the process, we are becoming the parent we needed at times to help the wounded child we have within.
To go more in depth, all those experiences of pain at some levels, far from our emotions, bring us wisdom within guiding us, when we do the work, to understand better our own mistakes, what we could have done differently, to learn about ourselves instead of blaming ourselves, others, life, and to introspect what was missing from ourselves, or still is. Those experiences force us somehow to be fully true to our own self and become wiser. They give us the tools and the strength to become an advocate for our own self, our children, someone else, or a cause for instance.
No matter where we are and who we are, we all have our own share of hurts and wounds regardless of the level and intensity we are experiencing from Life’s events and those we cannot feel in control… Either it is emotional pain, mental pain, or physical pain… Pain brings us wisdom within afterwards... And on a functional level, our body is responding to it by secreting various hormones and mechanisms to help us cope as a stress response!

To go along through the growing process with self-awareness and introspection (or “enlightenment" as called it for myself) I also grasped the concept of the energies and frequencies, and how they are around us and in us, whether positively and uplifting us, or negatively and pulling us down.
It was while I was introduced to Reiki in 2020, I connected the dots and started to understand the impact of the energies we are in connection with, and how energies are frequencies and vibrations influencing us! At first I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew that Reiki was a wellness practice that helped promote relaxation and reduce overall stress. I also knew a few people back then who had great outcomes with Reiki. During my first experience I felt electricity-like sensations at some moments, flowing movements in my body, and a feeling of deep relaxation I never felt before. In addition to this, the practitioner was using musical instruments during the session, which brought another dimension to my experience, explaining that sounds with certain frequencies help attune our body as a whole.
I didn't know how to explain it, but it resonated with me right away. I grew up in a scientific world from my father, as an electronic engineer, with the notions in physics of forces, ampere, and frequencies; and the fact that everything in the universe, including living beings, has energy and can be associated with specific frequencies, as seen in quantum mechanics.
In parallel, I also grew up immersed into the world of classical music at an early age,
and play piano for several years, where melodies, symphonies, and instruments were transporting my ears, body, and soul to another level. At the same time, I was also listening to other types of music. I didn't understand the meaning of the lyrics when it was in English for a long period of time, but I was connected by the sounds, the musicality, and the vibrations of the tunes.
As a music lover, it all suddenly became clear how various mediums of energies, of vibrations can impact our whole body through our skin and our cells, and not only through our ears. Indeed, each musical note, as we might know as “Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do” from the musical scale in solfège, has each one a different frequency impacting us directly. We have music we like, others we don't. Some make us happy, others sad, or in another mood. Some can also have healing properties making us calm and reducing stress through its rhythms and melodies. This is a question of frequency, of vibration, and diffused energy impacting our emotions, our mood, our mind, our organs, our body, and soul.
Scientists at the Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, can confirm the healing property of music. In 2011, it was found that “Beethoven's Symphony No. 5” was destroying 20% of cancer cells in lab tests in just a few days, while the healthy cells were unharmed. Rhythm, frequency, and intensity could be key factors offering the potential of music as a non-invasive cancer therapy treatment.
Following that first session of Reiki, I was immediately attracted by this new feeling and wanted to learn more about Reiki and energy work.
Furthermore, it was when my father-in-law passed away unexpectedly in 2020, I got the confirmation that the energies were real, and there was more to learn from it. As I was just done with my Master Reiki training and beginning my journey I felt unique sensations during his hospitalization while I was practicing distance Reiki, until his light deemed down. This life experience gave me deep insights and guidance on my path. I was able to feel the body field energy, a transition, and at some levels a meaning to our existence, despite the overwhelming emotional situation we were going through. I felt the connection to something greater than oneself: The Divine Energy of Light! This was only the beginning of my energy field and spiritual journey.
To go along with the field of energies, through the years I learned from personal experiences, self-awareness work, and research that not only our emotions are connected to our body function and symptoms, but that our emotions, thoughts, intentions, and the environments we are living in were diffusing various energies, frequencies, and vibrations, impacting either positively and negatively self and others. This progression made me realize that paying attention to all the elements as a whole can give us clues on what to improve, reduce inflammation, and lower chronic stressors we might face on our life journey.
This is why with Stephanie Holistic Coaching's concept together we are going in-depth about self-awareness and the notion about the energies we are diffusing and the ones we might be influenced by in order to improve our overall being.

The roots of Reiki are believed to date back thousands of years, with concepts of energy healing present in various cultures, including ancient practices in India, Tibet, and China. However, the modern practice of Reiki as we know it was developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui in Japan. The practice involves the transfer of what we call the Universal’s Energy from the Reiki practitioner's hand palms to the client to stimulate the body's natural healing ability.

When we are under stress, under pressure, feeling rushed, dealing with concerns, sicknesses or in pain mentally, emotionally or physically… Our breathing becomes shallow as part of our body's natural "fight-or-flight" response, leading to rapid and less effective breaths, along with various symptoms.

What is Qigong & Breathing with the 5 phases of Personal Evolution?
Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines slow and flowing movements with controlled deep breathing, known to promote relaxation, well-being, and self-healing. Practiced regularly, it encourages us to be present in our body with a calm mental state, self-awareness, mindfulness, and helps balance our stagnant emotions and body's vital energy, named "qi,".
According to Chinese medicine, the only 'bad'' emotion is a stuck emotion. Since our emotions can get unbalanced in either direction with too much, or too little, they need to be overall balanced; and Qigong is a self-healing practice that promotes overall wellness while addressing the emotions.
