Chronic Stress Reduction... Children are our inspiration!
The Story Behind School of Life Children Projects
Where Life Becomes the Classroom
School of Life Children Projects began as the name for our homeschool and the learning experiences we shared as a family. Over time, it became much more - a vision rooted in the belief that life itself is our greatest classroom.
Children learn through relationships, challenges, creativity, curiosity, and everyday experiences. Learning doesn’t have to happen within four walls or follow a traditional schedule. It can happen anywhere, anytime, as children explore the world around them.
A Passion for Supporting Children and Families
My journey began in 2005, when I developed a strong interest in personal development after graduating from business school. I began exploring how childhood experiences, environments, and emotions can influence the adults we become - and how unresolved experiences may shape the choices we make later in life.
That understanding inspired me to work with children. I began as a nanny and, after moving to the United States in 2011, continued my work as an early childhood teacher. These experiences deepened my passion for supporting children and families and became the foundation for the work I do today.
As a mother of two, I also understand the everyday challenges families face - from childhood illnesses and physical discomfort to emotional struggles, big feelings, and difficult transitions. Since becoming a mother in 2014, I’ve continued learning about gentle, natural ways to support children through life’s challenges.
Growing Through Motherhood
Becoming a mother changed even further the way I understood children - and myself.
My children have taught me that supporting them through emotions, challenges, and uncertainty also invites us to grow. When we help children pause, process, and find their way forward, we often discover new ways to care for the younger parts of ourselves.
Children challenge us, inspire us, and encourage us to become more present, patient, and intentional parents and caregivers. They continue to be the inspiration behind everything I do.
Connecting the Pieces of Wellness
While studying the Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® program, I gained additional knowledge and tools while supporting my daughter through tic-related challenges. Through further education and functional lab testing, I learned more about chronic stress, inflammation, environmental factors, and the many influences that may affect a child’s well-being.
Our family also discovered mold contamination in our home despite there being no obvious leaks or visible water damage. This experience opened my eyes to how hidden environmental factors may contribute to ongoing health concerns and reinforced the importance of looking at the whole picture.
Supporting the Whole Child
Today, through Stephanie Holistic Coaching and School of Life Children Projects, I bring together my experience in child development, wellness, education, and chronic -stress support.
My goal today is to help families connect the dots between the physical, emotional, environmental, and lifestyle factors that may influence a child’s well-being. Together, we explore potential stressors and identify practical ways to create more supportive routines, environments, and experiences.
Every child is unique. My approach is centered on listening, learning, and viewing each child as a whole person - not simply focusing on one symptom or challenge.

"After having knocked on all the doors of traditional medicine for my son and still having no answers and no hope in sight for him to get better, I reached out to Stephanie. I immediately felt that I could trust her and that she really cared. We had lengthy calls during which we would discuss my son’s condition, her recommendations and ongoing follow-up support. She was always available when issues would come up. I was impressed by how much time she would give me. My son’s health made significant improvements over a period of a year" [...]
